FREE Playlist Submission Platforms
Welcome to Blog Post #7
I’ve been getting a lot of questions about how to submit your music to playlists, so today’s post will share with you my top submission platforms that I use every day. Oh, and they are all FREE! I have had the most success with placement on these platforms, and they are super easy to use. They all have different conditions, however Daily Playlists, and SoundPlate are ones that you can use almost daily. Check them out and start submitting your music!
You can also find a link to my new podcast, Before the Tour, focusing on more music related topics, including playlist submission strategies. New episodes are released bi-weekly!

Submit Hub (not free, but real handy)
https://www.submithub.com/
*This platform is super popular and a great way to target genre specific playlists while getting quality feedback from curators.
Never Enough Music

Musosoup (not free, but still awesome!)
https://www.musosoup.com/
*This platform is great for an independent release to gain traction on blogs, and music magazines for reviews and write-ups. There are also playlist features and I find it’s a great cost-effective way to market your music without spending hundreds of dollars through a marketing agency.
SoundPlate

Spotify
*This submission platform is available through your Spotify For Artists page. Within the tab “Music” you will see the option of “Upcoming”. Here is where you will pitch your track to Spotify curators, but make sure you submit it with at least 2 weeks for proper consideration.
iMusician

*iMusic is also a distributor, but they have a super easy to use free playlist submission for artists who don’t use their distribution as well.
Playlist Map

*A reader of the blog suggested this platform to me, and it has both free and paid options for submission. The free one gives you the opportunity for limited, daily submissions, so it’s definitely worth a try!
