Hunter Sheridan
Hunter Sheridan is a Canadian musician whose music delivers introspective, soulful song writing with warm melodies that weave a euphoric atmosphere. Hunter’s writing highlights self-discovery, honest lyrics, and dynamic arrangements, connecting with listeners across music genres.
After performing in various projects over the years, Hunter began releasing music as a solo artist in 2019. He quickly gained local notoriety after back to back nominations as ‘Songwriter of the Year’, and ‘Album + Single of the Year’ in the 2020 and 2021 Oshawa Music Awards.
Hunter’s debut album, Life is a Dream, received features on Spotify’s ‘Folk Favourites’ and ‘Folk & Friends’, and has accumulated over 100,000 streams since its release in mid 2020. In 2021, Hunter began releasing singles to foreshadow the development of his second album, which is set for release in early 2022. The first single from the new album titled, To You, My Friend, quickly rose to his most popular track, with 80,000 streams. The song also received features in Songwriter Magazine (UK) and made it to the semi-finals in the International Songwriting Competition.
Hunter’s latest indie-rock inspired single, Ambrose, takes his dynamic, songwriting ability to new, exciting places. Ambrose explores the character’s perspective on life, reality, and the passing of time fuelled by his role in the latest Stephen Chbosky, horror-thriller novel, Imaginary Friend.
